Dear bobcats,
We are still in the review phase. Read the bellow update for more details.

Update 03/25/2020
Hello everyone,

I hope you and your family are doing well and staying healthy and safe during this challenging time.

I have updated our class page with some distance learning material and resources based on the PWCS guideline. Here is a link to access these materials. You can also access them by going to the “Math 8th and Extended 7th link on the left side of this page, then open the “Math 8th and Extended 7th Files and Documents” link on the following page.

There, you can also find the “Calendar” which shows the content that we have covered so far. (The only unit that we have not covered for this year is Probability and Statistics, and you can see it on the bottom of the calendar written in red.)

There is a folder name” IXL Practice” on that page as well, which lists recommended IXL practice for each objective for all 8th grade level and Extended 7th, at Beville.

AS OF NOW THERE ARE NO NEW GRADED ASSIGNMENTS

Assignments that were assigned and due before 3/12/20:

If you are missing any of these formative assessments (IXL assessment), you can still make them up. Just complete them and email me the IXL information with the subject IXL work.

If you turned your IXL  late work form right before the school closing, your forms are still in the building and I don’t have access to them, but you can still receive credit by emailing me the same information on that form.

The email containing IXL assignment information must include: Your first and last name, grade you are in, IXL name, IXL grade, score you earned on that assignments. You may also access the IXL form in the same page to organize your information.

Assignments that were assigned before 3/12/20 and due after 3/12/20: The due date for these assignments are extended to 4/14/20

For our class, there is only one assignment that falls under this category and that is:

8.16 linear Function connecting graph, table, rule Alg: S14,15,16,20,21 (3/11-3/16)

If you have already completed this assignment or would complete it by 4/14/20, you don’t need to email me about it. As of now, I am planning to update the grades for this assignment in the grade book starting 4/15/16.

In the meanwhile, please take care of yourself, be safe, and practice social distancing to protect your family and our community.
