Greetings! I hope everyone is doing well. We are not going to move forward with the curriculum at this time, but only concentrate on reviewing topics that have been previously taught.

Students have covered ratios, equivalent ratios, rates, comparing and converting between fractions, decimals and percents, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, whole numbers and mixed numbers, word problems with decimals, integers, absolute value, operations with integers and order of operations.   There is a list of all  SOL topics for 6th grade - coded green for what we have covered and red for what we didn't get to yet under the heading on the left of the page called Files and Documents.

SOL 6.1 thru 6.6, 6.8 and 6.12 thru 14.

IXL is an excellent method for reviewing previously learned skills.  If a problem is incorrect, the student can scroll down and receive an explanation.
