In social studies, we are learning about western expansion... we'll be discussing how the U.S. more than doubled the size of the country between 1800-1861, and how this leads directly to the spread of slavery, and eventually the Civil War. As always, if you have questions about your students work or progress in my class, don't hesitate to reach out.
