Reading Strategies is a class where students learn how to effectively use strategies and skills by exploring a variety of reading materials.
Students who are in Reading Strategies classes will be reading everyday. I encourage that students bring their own books with them from the school library or public library. I have an extensive classroom library; however these books stay in the classroom.
Also, students work on a variety of projects. Most of the work is completed using computer programs. I am requiring that students have a flash-drive to save their work on. All work is completed at school but the use of a flash-drive allows parents/guardians to view their child's work in progress.
