Ms. Bivins

Update 4/13/20
Welcome to Mrs Bivins page!

I hope you enjoyed Spring Break! I have uploaded a document in the 7th Grade Math 7  Files and Document 8th Grade Math in Math 8 Announcements for this year and how learning will take place the rest of the year.

In short for the learning portion: Each week I will send out a reminder email that I have uploaded the material for that week and the topic that it covers.
It is the student's responsibility to watch the videos and attempt the learning activity.

As of April 13, 2020:
Each Monday you should expect an email from me overviewing the week’s instruction and topic.

Every Tuesday from 9:00am – 10:30am will be our Math Instructional Time.

  • This may include:
    • Zoom Meeting starting at 9:30am on Zoom (link sent through email)
    • Practice Problems
    • IXL Practice
    • And more

Every Thursday from 12:00pm – 1:30pm will be my Math Office Hours.

  • This means I will be available on Zoom (same link as Instructional Time) to review worksheet/activity answers, chat and answer any questions about Tuesday’s mini lesson and work that you may have.

I hope your families are safe and staying healthy,

Mrs. Bivins

At this time, there is no new learning and no new grades for the 3rd grading period.  If you would like to bring your grade up, you make improve any scores on IXL. Below are all of the ones I have graded for Quarter Three.  If you improve any of these, let me know ASAP and I will be happy to update them! If you do not email me that you have worked on these, I will not know to change your grade.

Please email me at any time bivinscm@pwcs.edu

Stay safe my mathematicians and wash your hands!
