Beville Debate is one of the many teams in the Nation's Capital Debate League (NCDL).

We have recently attended the March 7th at Longfellow Middle School in Falls Church, VA. The debate consisted of three impromptu rounds, and one scripted round with the topic of Zoos Should Be Banned. Beville brought six teams to Longfellow Middle School, all of which debated schools like Rachel Carson Middle School and Blesses Sacrament School. Yared Pierce, an 8th grader, took home the Top School Speaker award.

We are currently qualified and scheduled to compete in the East Coast National Championship Tournament on May 2nd in Allentown, New Jersey.
