Mission Kindness Promotes Community Service and Action Among Beville Student Body
Mission Kindness is a student – initiated outreach within Beville Middle School’s student body. SCA and NJHS student leaders’ encouragement of acts of kindness on campus includes collection of items for the SERVE Family Shelter. Students may bring toiletry items from Nov. 28, 2017 - Dec. 15, 2017 to contribute to the collection in their Period 7 class.
To continue the IB Service & Action project, on December 5 some of our students became the teachers. Their lesson reminds students of the value of kindness as they design bobcat paw prints with messages of kindness to display in the school.
An additional outreach from our Beville students on December 12 is to make Kindness Notes for fifth grade students in our neighboring elementary schools. Sharing kindness is a healthy habit our students are seeking to encourage within the community.
