There are many ways to access free e-books and audio books online. See below for our favorites!

Options Through the Public Library

All that you need to access these e-books and audiobooks is a free library card. Don't have one? Digital library cards are available for anyone over the age of 18, but you may use the online services with your parent's or guardian's card (with their permission). Link to Hoopla (Links to an external site.)- Hoopla offers popular e-books, audio books and movies. You can borrow up to 12 "items" per month per library card.

Link to Overdrive (Links to an external site.)- Libby/Overdrive offers thousands of popular e-books and audio books.

Options Without a Library Card

Link to Open Library (Links to an external site.)- Open library offers some really great books, including some manga! Click on "K-12 Student Library" to find middle grade books. To use, you must sign up for a free account.

Link to Many Books (Links to an external site.)- Ever wanted to read the original Grimm's Fairy Tales? Or maybe Sherlock Holmes? Manybooks.net has over 50,000 classic books that may either be read online (without an account) or downloaded to your device (with a free account).

- Viz offers the latest chapters of Shonen Jump mangas for free! Go to the home page and scroll to the bottom where it says "Read Free Shonen Jump Manga Chapters!" No sign in required.
